Who Made These Big Ass Jars?

Science Alert shares photos and a story about the discovery of 65 giant sandstone jars across the region of Assam in India. No one know who made them or why, or where the sandstone came from, but archaeologists keep finding them. So far, 797 vessels have been found at 11 distinct sites in Assam, and similar sites have been discovered in Laos and Indonesia. Some came with added human remains.
