A legendary Japanese boulder that purportedly contained the spirit of an evil demon has split open, reports The SunAccording to mythology, the volcanic rock – Sessho-seki, also known as the killing stone – is the prison of Tamomo-No-Mae, also known as the Nine-Tailed Fox, and anyone who touches it will die. 

So much for that tourist attraction.
