Excerpt from one of the magical charts in Ein Im[m]erwährender Natürlich-Magischer Calender, Welcher die Beschauung der Allertiefesten und Geheimesten Sachen, Ingleichen die Erkäntnüs der gantzen Philosophie in sich faßet.

Published in German in 1582, An Everlasting Natural-Magical Calendar, Which Contains the Contemplation of the Deepest and Most Secret Things, as well as the Acknowledgements of the Whole Philopshy includes three charts mapping out paths to hidden magic. Combining Jewish mysticism, the zodiac, archangels and lesser angels, the four elements, the four winds, the four cardinal directions, and all manner of philosophical alchemy and hermeticism, esoteric philosophies and practices, the book purports to provide a guide to becoming an alchemist.

The grimoire provides instructions on creating magical objects like talismans and amulets, performing magical spells, charms and divination, and summoning or invoking supernatural entities such as angels, spirits, deities, and demons.

A great MacGuffin or story prompt. What powers does the book hold? Who created it? Who has it now? What happens next?
