This week’s Write the Book prompt was suggested by Thomas H. McNeely and inspired by their conversation.
During the interview, McNeely discusses the power of objects, particularly those we use in our writing. As a prompt, write about some objects you remember and consider what they meant to you and what happened to them. Alternatively, think about how you can use objects to allow a character to reflect and perhaps express an emotion or idea that they couldn’t otherwise.
