In a post on ScreenCraft, Ken Miyamoto analyzes the character arc of the Marvel hero Star-Lord, as he journeys from outlaw to hero over the course of several films. “At first glance, Star-Lord is a cocky, charming, and funny character who uses these personality traits to steal, swindle, and manipulate,” Miyamoto writes. “However, after he meets the individuals who will become the original members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, he slowly showcases heroism and loyalty.”
