The more digging archaeologists accomplish, the more gods they find. You’d think by now, they’d have learned their lesson. The latest as-yet-unidentified gods were believed to have been worshipped around huge stone monuments – called mustatils – in Saudi Arabia. Researchers found 7000 year-old fragments of animal skulls and horns near a large upright stone that is part of a 140-long mustatil, which they believed were part of animal sacrifices.
