Like something out of a horror novel, the real-life passengers of Helios Airways Flight 522 never made it from Cyprus to Prague in August 2005. The plane lifted off with 121 living persons and all seemed to be normal until ground control lost contact with the pilots and the plane eventually crashed in Greece.
No one survived. In the passenger cabin, oxygen masks had deployed but were not used. The bodies of most of the passengers had been frozen solid. What happened on this ghost plane? How had it managed to keep flying after everyone aboard had died?
