Writing Prompt: The Glamorous Life of an Astronaut by bigpulp

NASA has published research revealing that the herpes virus reactivated during spaceflight in more than half the crew aboard Space Shuttle and International Space Station missions. While only a few crew members showed symptoms, the rate of virus reactivation increased the longer the mission lasted, which suggests astronauts on longer flights – such as to Mars and beyond – could face serious health risks.
