Trina Jacobs was born on Halloween. Her friends say that explains a lot. She left her hometown after college, when she realized that there are places where winter lasts less than six months. She moved to Oklahoma, where she followed her dream of training horses and teaching riding lessons for several years before deciding that a steady paycheck might be nice. Her fiction has appeared in Big Pulp, The Drabbler, The Daily Flash 2011, Alpha Centauri, and I Should Have Stayed in Oz. She is working on her first novel, an urban fantasy about vampires and werewolves and witches (oh my!). Trina lives near Tulsa, OK with her husband, one horse, one dog, and three cats.
