Gary Cahill is an Active Member of Mystery Writers of America New York, International Thriller Writers, and Irish American Writers and Artists. His first short story, “That Kind of Guy”, was published under the honorary Black Mask banner in the January 2009 Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine and was reprinted in a Pulp Empire anthology. “Corner Of River And Rain” was released in online, Kindle, and print anthology formats with Short Story Me Genre Fiction, and “The Damnedest Things” ran in The First Line Literary Journal Fall 2012. “The Way To A Man’s Heart” inaugurated the new online e-mag and e-book anthology from Plan B Magazine (Volume 1), and “Ninety Miles, A Million Miles” appears in Volume II. Shotgun Honey will feature the flash fiction “Hudson County, November ‘80” online in Fall 2013. He worked (and still plays) for over 23 years in NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen, and can now be found across the Hudson River as a staff member at the Weehawken NJ Public Library.
