In a post on Writers Unboxed, Barbara O’Neal offers suggestions for some literary spring planting that can help writers grow new creative work or a carer. Our favorites:
- Read (and write!) outside your genre or form.
- Engage with writing in a live settings, such as a lecture, play, or reading
- Find a new place to write or try a new method (by swapping your laptop for a pen and paper, for example).
- Read poems.
- Clean your writing physical and mental writing space. Throw out junk and set some new goals.
