a rerun of an old old movie
from the thirties perhaps
where the guy falls off his bike
in front of a police constable
who blankets him, calls the medics
a truck stops with helpful driver
to drink in disaster
the wife shows up almost faints
yet affirms name and phone number
she turns her head
and the guy falls off his bike
in front of a police constable
who blankets … …
the movie goes
round and around
