In a post on the Funds for Writers blog, C. Hope Clark says writers should be careful about asking for feedback too early in the process and never ask for feedback on an idea. “First, the idea isn’t fully fleshed out, therefore limiting the quality of the feedback. Without more information (i.e., quality of writing, the consummation of the plot), how in the world can the reader even tell?”
